21A
Musical Freestyles First level and above.
Offered at all schooling shows (on the Sunday of 2 day shows).
Specify level on entry form. Sound system may not be available;
rider must bring a ‘boom box’ or sufficient sound system.
21B
Costume Musical Freestyles Offered only at
Chagrin Valley on October 11. First level and above. Specify level
on entry form. Call show secretary to verify sound system is
available and to find out if you need a tape or a CD. Standard tack
rules apply, but horse and/or rider must be in costume!
21C
Prix Caprilli Test Test of choice (Test A or Test
B, see page xx) as one class. Offered only at Crosswinds June 1,
Grand Haven July 6, and Brecksville September 7 (Sunday); to be
cancelled unless there are 2 or more entries. ASTM/SEI approved
helmet with chin strap required. Jumps will not be available in the
warm up ring; the rider will have time to take one fence in the show
ring before starting the test. Test A is suitable for riders doing
Training Level Tests 1 and 2, with a maximum jump height of 18 in.
Test B is suitable for riders doing Training Level Test 3 and above,
with a maximum jump height of 20 in.

Quadrille Offered only at GrandHaven on
July 6 and Rocky River on August 17. Specify test from
USDF 2007
Quadrille Tests: Basic, Training, First, Second, or
Third Level. All levels to be judged as one class.
Specialty Classes are
not included as Divisions in the Schooling Show Championship.
Large arena
will be used for all Specialty Tests--standard ring size not
guaranteed.
Specialty classes are
offered in response to member interest – and, because they are fun,
challenging, and lovely. The 2008 offering will be assessed for the
following year. Contact a NODA Officer or Board Member, or email
schoolingshow@nodarider.org if you have suggestions for 2009
