A Visual Guide to the Daily Vocabulary of Riding using Demo Riders and Horses

Thank you to everyone who attended this NODA Education Event with Charles de Kunffy.   Feedback from participants was very positive regarding the information shared by Charles, as well as the delicious food provided by the Education Committee.      NODA wishes to extend a very special thank you to Charles de Kunffy, Janeen Langowski-Grava, and Topline Stables, as well as NODA President, Dee Liebenthal, for snapping the photos below.

SHORT BIO OF CHARLES DE KUNFFY
Charles de Kunffy's equestrian credentials and reputation are as difficult to abbreviate as they are to duplicate.  He is a much-appreciated clinician, sought after dressage judge, author of several books, many articles, and introductions to the writing of others.  He was born and raised in Hungary as a member of the nobility whose parents were eminent horse breeders with derby winning racehorses.  Mr. de Kunffy started riding as a child, always under expert supervision and instruction.  His riding masters were educated during the golden age of equitation 1900-1945.  Cross-country riding, jumping and dressage were melded into one comprehensive riding theory and methodology.  Mr. de Kunffy was schooled with the strictest adherence to classical training traditions based on scholarship and a profound respect for the horse.   Learn more about Charles de Kunffy at www.CharlesdeKunffy.com

Education Co-Chair, Berni Moauro and I would like to thank all attendees for making our Charles de Kunffy clinic a big success.  A  very special thank you to Charles, Janeen Langowski-Grava, and her Topline Stables staff for all of their efforts.   Thank you to Lisa Pollari for baking beautiful and delicious cupcakes to share.   The Paddock Saddlery donated a book written by Charles de Kunffy and two tote bags for our raffle -- thank you Lisa Gorretta and Carrie Smith-Wilson.  A special thank you to NODA president, Dee Liebenthal, for showing us the ropes of organizing an NODA education event, and then walking them with us!  Last but not least, thank you to Charlene Tillman for her assisting at the check-in table.

Charles de Kunffy is a retired FEC "C" Judge, author of numerous books and videos, and a world renowned Master of Dressage.   He is appreciated for his scholastic depth, academic expertise, clarity and vigor of delivery.
